The Enhanced Edition removes level scaling for all of the. It also makes it easier for Geralt to maneuver around the battlefield. It implements close, medium, and long-range attacks. The mod is definitely designed for players who use a keyboard and mouse rather than a controller. I add that I'm using a controller because W3EE seems to be more KB+M orientated in terms of it's combat feature set, but I've been told that turning on auto targeting makes for a similar experience on controller (but without the cool manual options of short/mid/long attacks that seem to be awesome for the KB+M). The Enhanced Edition changes the combat system from the ground up. It's going to be my 4th playthrough, the first time going through Blood & Wine too (2 base game DM runs and 1 x base+HoS), so I'm pretty excited, but not a fan of the loot system, bit bored of the combat and wanted a rejuvinated playthrough for my 4th one, and Ghost Mode / Enhanced Edition seem the best mods out there for a full amazing overhaul. Mods like Friendly HUD, Ghost Mode, Preparations, any mod that changes potions in any way, any mod that changes skills, runewords, how skills work, combat, stamina usage, etc are completely and utterly incompatible and even thinking about them will blow your computer up.
To my brethren that have played the game with both or either mod - which felt the best to you? (taking into account I'm going to play with a controller, most likely on Death March if I can handle it with the increased difficulty).
